Begins Campaign with Endorsements from Congressman Adam Gray and Stanislaus County Supervisor Channce Condit

Turlock – Long time Turlock area farmer Paul Danbom today announced his Candidacy for California’s 5^th Congressional District, encompassing parts of the Northern San Joaquin Valley, Sierra Foothills, and Central and Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains. Danbom begins his campaign with endorsements from California Congressman Adam Gray and Stanislaus County Supervisor Channce Condit.

Danbom begins his campaign focusing on the issues of reducing increased health insurance costs due to the Republican Congress inaction on ACA subsidies, tackling the growing affordability crisis faced by everyday working families, and standing up to a Trump administration that increasingly governs through fear, power and intimidation.

“I know we can count on Paul Danbom to look out for the people of the 5^th Congressional District”, said Stanislaus County Supervisor Channce Condit on his endorsement of Danbom. “From lowering our healthcare insurance costs to tackling our affordability crisis, Paul will put the needs of the people he represents first, not be a rubber stamp for the DC establishment.”

Paul Danbom was born and raised in the Turlock area. A fifth-generation family farmer, Paul is married to his wife Taryn and together they have three children, Collin, Kylie and Lauren. Under Paul’s stewardship his farms and ranch have become more environmentally sustainable while also becoming more economically sustainable.

Paul has been a dedicated member of the community, volunteering his time with various groups over the years, including serving as a trustee on local municipal Special Districts, as a volunteer with the Merced County Sheriff’s Department. Paul currently serves on the National Dairy Promotion and Research Board and on the Dairy Farmers of America Board as a Resolutions Committee Member.
