About Paul Danbom

Paul Danbom is a born and raised California native and a fifth-generation family farmer. Paul is also a realtor, and business owner who proudly operates his family farm in Turlock; where he grows almonds, corn and raises cattle. Paul and his wife Taryn along with their three children, Collin, Kylie and Lauren, live in Turlock on their farm.  Hard work, a commitment to the land and integrity are a way of life on the farm and part of the values passed on to him from his parents.  Paul is now passing those values down to his children.

A native of the Central Valley, Paul graduated from Hilmar High School, where his father was once a teacher.  He then attended Modesto Junior College and California State University, Stanislaus.

Values, Integrity, and a 20-Year Legacy

Near the end of Paul’s studies, his grandfather was diagnosed with cancer. Knowing that he would be unable to adequately manage the family farm; he and Paul’s Great Uncle Jim came up with a plan to transition the family farm to the next generation. For the last 20 years Paul has continued that family legacy. Through financial ups and downs, through hot summers and chilly winters, dry years and wet Paul persisted finding ways to improve the farm, grow his business and remain true to his core values.

Stewardship & Sustainability

Under Paul’s stewardship the farms and ranch have become more environmentally sustainable while also becoming more economically sustainable. By using byproducts from farming operations to support ranching needs and fertilizer from the ranch to support the farm the Danbom family farm today produces very little unrecycled waste.

Paul has been a dedicated member of the community volunteering his time with various groups over the years, including serving as a trustee on local municipal Special Districts, as a volunteer with the Merced County Sheriff’s Department and more.  Paul, his wife Taryn and their three kids are proud residents of the Central Valley and proud California Farmers.
